Øyvind co-founded Positron Capital in 2016 and has been working in Private Markets industry since 2005. He has past experience with direct investments in unlisted companies and extensive experience with identification, due diligence and investments in Private Equity funds, as well as selection of fund managers. Øyvind has managed substantial capital on behalf of external investors and has been a member of the Investor Committee of several Private Equity funds.

 

Prior to Positron Capital, he worked for nine years in DNB Asset Management (Private Equity) - part of Norway's largest bank, where he was instrumental in establishing and building the bank’s investment and management franchise within Private Equity investments. Øyvind was employed by DNB Bank for 15 years and previously worked as a financial advisor at Finanshuset in Oslo. He is an Authorised Financial Analyst and holds a Master degree from the Norwegian School of Economics.
